McKay Needed In Seattle

A key USA client has once again requested that McKay send more Electrical Marine Supervisors to oversee the commissioning of two tug boats.

Seasoned professionals Mark Dragon and Jethro Bosworth have left for Seattle and will spend 10 weeks working on the project. Both Mark and Jethro have spent considerable amounts of time in USA working on various marine projects along the eastern seaboard.

McKay’s International Engineering Manager, Andreas Zaugg, says that experience and technical know how is what keeps McKay’s Kiwi team in high demand. “Our USA clients feel that we can add significant value to their projects by bringing skills that complement their own construction capabilities”.

The low New Zealand dollar combined with McKay’s global capacities reinforces McKay’s position in the international market place.
