McKay worked alongside Nichols Brothers Boat Builders to deliver the MV Leisa Florence tug to Foss Maritime. McKay supplied the main switchboard for the vessel, which is now the third tug boat McKay have delivered alongside the client. The vessel is now in Southern California assisting Foss Maritime’s customers calling on the ports of LA/Long Beach.
Our Engineering team are delivering electrical design and supply of Main AC Switchboard and DC distribution Boards for an Advanced Lake Research Vessel being built by Derecktor Shipyard in the USA, in their New York Facilities. The team have previously delivered similar vessels alongside Derecktor and this 64-foot aluminum catamaran will be the third hybrid vessel delivered alongside the client.
