MY Yas – Swift 141

McKay’s experience and expertise were being used to complete the largest superyacht currently under construction in the world at the time. The vessel is an ex-naval Dutch A-Class frigate and was converted into a luxury ‘megayacht’ over 140m long.

A project of this size required an experienced team of project managers, planners, and electrical supervisors. McKay met these requirements by sending a team of over 20 staff members to live in Abu Dhabi for the duration of the project.

Our work on this project included; planning, coordinating and installation of electrical equipment and cables. McKay personnel are electrical supervisors, each supervising teams of 5-10 locally sourced employees.
