McKay’s design and installation expertise has seen the company involved with many power generation projects around the South Pacific, including:

Penryhn Power Station, Cook Islands 

• Installation of generators.

• Cabling of two power stations

The generators were installed on poles to ensure they were clear of waves during cyclones.  We also worked on protecting the cables from weather, by installing them underground.

Power Development Project, Tonga 

Design, supply, installation and commissioning of two 300KVA and two 150KVA generators.

Supply and installation of four 150kVA synchronised generators.
