The shutdown Point Forward Project at the NZ Refining Company has been completed on time.
The PF Project has finished the month long shutdown at NZRC, and it has been a tremendous effort from the team to complete this on time. We had only 26 days to complete the job, including, 20 days with rain, a tsunami, and unfortunately two funerals to attend.
We still have work to tidy up and installation of light fittings which should take us into mid December for the completion of the PF Project.
The McKay maintenance team have also completed their shutdown work, which was a further success. We had an incident free shutdown with no accidents. Meanwhile NZRC have just completed 1 million hours on site without an LTI.
